He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanne; his children, David (Jennifer) and Christine (Carl); his parents, Matthew Imielski and Janice Imielski; his grandchildren, Sophia Imielski, Nicholas Alaimo and Angelina Alaimo; and his brother James Imielski.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:15 PM at the Carbonara Funeral Home (1515 25th Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ave Melrose Park (1000 25th Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160).
