He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan "Terrell" (late Katrina); his parents, Elizabeth Hunt Pitts and Freddie Lee Pitts Sr.; and his sibling Terry. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Pitts; his children, Gerald (Dawn), Gregory (Cheryl), Forenzo "Ren" (Sharron), Darryl "Mont", Fred III (Ashley), Cedric (Carletha) and Fond; his grandchild Fond; and his siblings, Dorothy, Almarie, Milton, Bertha, Ivy, Rose, Anita and Elijah "Roy".
