With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleanor Caccavale (Melrose Park, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Eleanor leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vito Mastrogiacomo and Giustina Mastrogiacomo; her husband Rocco Caccavale; and her siblings, Lina and Mario.
She is survived by: her nephews, Sal Caccavale (Cyndy), Robert Caccavale (Rhodora) and Michael DeVito (Maria). She is also survived by seven grandnephews and three grandnieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carbonara Funeral Home (1515 25th Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
