It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia M. Montenegro of Melrose Park, Illinois, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Antonio Montenegro; and her siblings, Maria Elena Montenegro and Antonio Montenegro. She is survived by: her mother Claudia Montenegro; her siblings, Luzmaria Chaidez (Javier), Eva Vargas (Jesus) and Beatriz Montenegro; her nieces and nephews, Javier Ivan Chaidez, Vanessa Figueroa (Mike), Tanya Vargas (John Ivey), Alexandra Vargas and Kassandra Vargas; and her great-niece Mia.
