She was predeceased by: her parents, Raul Medina and Elisa Herrera; her son Armando Meraz; and her brother Abel Medina. She is survived by: her husband Ascencion Meraz; and her children, Hugo, Gloria, Humberto, Ernesto and Cesar. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
