He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodson Jennings and Rebecca Jennings (Gay); and his siblings, Ralph, David, Howard, Norman Jennings, Henry Buchanan and Mary Jennings.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cardwell; his son Steve Jennings of Rockbridge; his siblings, Harry Jennings, Dorothy Degroot and Mary Caudle (Jerry); and his brother-in-law Sonny Cardwell (Bette). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
