It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Marvin of Mechanicsburg, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos "Whitey" and Bettie Marvin (Rogers); and his brothers, Jerry, Jimmy and Ronnie Marvin.

He is survived by: his wife Deanna Huff; his children, Jodi Marvin, Sabrah Witkamp (Rex), Carrie Marvin (Jim Statzer), Eric Marvin (Charity) and Leah Frey (Jon); his grandchildren, Elise Blackwell (Sean), Michael Cody, Felix Witkamp, Andrew Frey, William and Eliyanah Marvin; his great grandchildren, Gabriella Cody and Madilynn Blackwell; and his siblings, Marilyn Ebaugh (David) of Westminster, MD, Bev Mercer (Jerry) and Sally Fritcher (Bill). He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Due to COVID-19 family and friends are asked to please wear a mask and observe social distancing, Memorial contributions can be made to the Mechanicsburg Christian Church or the ILSHPA Jr. Fund.
