He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rehwald and Dorothy Rehwald (Plummer); and his wife Barbara Blumle. He is survived by: his children, Gale Reynolds (Jeff) of Paxton, Mary Clayton (Bud) of Mt. Auburn and Charles L. "Chuck" Rehwald (Suzie) of Mechanicsburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Grace Lutheran Church Trust Fund or Memorial Home Hospice.
