He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Fallis Opal Freeman (Garlits); his son Scott Freeman; and his siblings, Clell H., Horace J. Freeman, Georgia V. Hollenbeck and Judith Hulett.
He is survived by: his son Chris Freeman of New Orleans, LA; and his siblings, Connie Peavy of Dawson and Willis Curtman Freeman of Dawson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
