She was predeceased by: her parents, Clare Walker and Halcyon Walker (Bush); her siblings, Gerald Walker and Elaine Virgo; and her son-in-law Donald Row.

She is survived by: her husband Jesse Hoots of Mechanicsburg, IL; her children, Diane May (Eric) of Dundas, IL, Duane Hoots (Sarah) of Mechanicsburg, IL, Darlene Row of Monroe City, MO, Donna Bloemker (Carl) of Princeton, KY and David Hoots (Laura) of Morton, IL; her grandchildren, Craig, Rachel, Brendon, Travis Bloemker, Kaitlynne, Megan, Michael Hoots, Samuel, Adrian and Eleanor Hoots; her sisters, Janet Webb of Hillsboro, WI and Ellen Kirt of Brodhead, WI; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Walker of Nashville, TN and Naomi Mumford of Winchester, IL. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
