He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn York and Helen York (Foster); and his sisters, Mary Janet Rickey of Henry and Margaret Meredith of Marseilles. He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Lehman); his children, William York Jr. (Maria), Vickie Petersen (Daryel) and Jeanette Anderson (Benet); his grandchildren, Rebecca Sneath (Jeremy), Matthew York (Tracy), Emily Aichele (Matt), Ellen Anderson and Sophie Petersen; his great grandchildren, Hunter Sneath, Cody Sneath, MaKenna York, Natalie York and Lyla Aichele; and his brother Dick York of Florida.
