With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma Smith of McLeansboro, Illinois, born in Broughton, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2021 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Smith and Clara Smith (Irvin); her husband Lewis E. Smith; and her brothers, Darrell Angus Smith, Marion Lewis Smith and Malchus Irvin Smith.
She is survived by: her son Jesse Lee Smith (Patricia) of McLeansboro; her grandchildren, Rick Smith (Teresa) of Eaton, IN, Darlene Craddock (Mike) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Deanna Case (Don) of Muncie, IN; her great grandchildren, Krystal Kelly (Andy) of McLeansboro, Jake Sloan of McLeansboro, Kait Bullock (Seth) of Dahlgren, IL, Dacia Case of Muncie, IN and Dalin Case of Muncie, IN; and her great great grandchildren, Kadyn Kelly, Bradyn Kelly, Prestyn Kelly, Lenyn Bullock and Londyn Bullock.
Memorial donations may be made to New Salem Baptist Church and will be accepted at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
