It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Kowalski of McLeansboro, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Pokorney and Esther Pokorney (Kroll); and her husband Richard John Kowalski. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Maxwell Bowman of McLeansboro, Illinois and Layla Bowman of McLeansboro, Illinois; her siblings, Laverne Dickerson of Nashville, Madylen Baugh Roeper (Jeff Roeper) of St. Charles, Missouri and Stan Pokorney (Rita) of Wayne City, Illinois; and her sister-in-law Genevieve Lee of Creve Coeur, Missouri. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
