He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jefferson and Olive Ragan (Barker); his brother Bill Ragan; and his brother-in-law Phillip Payne. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Ann Smithpeters; his children, Tamara Jean Thomas of Mesa, AZ and Clint Ragan (Carrie) of McLeansboro, IL; his grandchildren, Leah Ragan of McLeansboro and Braxton Ragan of McLeansboro; his siblings, Randall Ragan (Diana), Donna Betts (Raymond "Ed") and Rosemary Payne; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Ragan and Joy Welch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, special neighbors and friends.
