The passing of Monica Nicole Tucker of McLeansboro, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 24, 2024 at the age of 48. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eudel Franklin Tucker Jr. and Barbara Ellen Williamson (Gowler); and her sister Felecia Ann Tucker. She is survived by: her daughters, Sabrina Darden (Jacob) of Sikeston, MO, Jordan Tinsley of McLeansboro and Ella Tinsley of McLeansboro; her brother Eudel Tucker III (Casey) of Hillister, TX; her nieces, Jade Tucker, Layla Tucker, Ava Tucker, Vivian Tucker, Kamryn Pas and Keatyn Pas; her stepfather Tommy Williamson of Belle Rive, IL; and her close friends, Staci, Shawn Barker and Bethany Floyd Harnetiaux of McLeansboro. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gholson Funeral Home-Dahlgren (401 W Main St, Dahlgren, IL 62828). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at the Sugar Camp Cemetery N Ina (392 N Ina Ln, Belle Rive, IL 62810).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hamilton County Band Boosters or to the Sugar Camp Cemetery Fund, and will be accepted at Gholson Funeral Home.
