It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Jane Powers of McLeansboro, Illinois, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie R. Luffman and Eddie Anna Luffman (Massey); her husband Roy Powers; her daughter Shirley Gail Martin; her grandsons, Bobby Butler and David Martin; and her children-in-law, George Butler and Rosie Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Wallace Martin of Collinsville, IL, Larry Powers (Debbie) of Wayne City, IL and Glenda Butler of Evansville, IN.; and her grandchildren, Donna Greenwell (Barry), Kim Beshears (Dennis), Larry Allen Powers, Mike Martin (Rhonda), Faith Chambliss (Clinton) and Chad Martin. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 30 great great grandchildren.
