He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Owen and Anna Lee Owen (Unthank). He is survived by: his wife Carla J. Summers; his children, Jeremy Owen, Joshua Owen, Lisa Williams (David) and Kendall Harris (Erica); his grandchildren, Mat Owen, Ali Owen, Levi Harris and Logan Harris; his great grandchildren, Camille Owen, Kane Owen and Ameliyah Owen; and his brother Bruce Owen (Debra).

Memorials may be made to the MS Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
