It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Roberts of McLeansboro, Illinois, born in Benton, Illinois, who passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Roberts and Edith Roberts (Carpenter); his siblings, Randall, Floyd, Marion, Darrell and Opal; and his grandson Isaiah Snowden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leigh Ann Blackburn of West Frankfort, IL and Amanda (James Cranmore) of Harrisburg, IL; his grandchildren, Kearsten, Kendall, Kyleigh, Kade, Macy, Braylin and Kambree; and his siblings-in-law, Malinda Roberts of Benton, Jim and Patty Heifner of Thompsonville.
Due to Health Concerns related to COVID-19: Visitation and Funeral services are limited to 50 people at one time; facial coverings are required; and social distancing should be observed.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children and will be accepted at the funeral home.
