Edith Haas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Haas of McLeansboro, Illinois, who passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Frey and Clara Frey (Engel); and her husband George A. "Sonny" Haas. She is survived by: her children, Don Haas (Judy) of Powell, TN, David Haas (Carla) of Estero, FL, Dennis Haas (Kim Laswell) of McLeansboro and Denise Hastings (Robert) of Dahlgren, IL; her grandchildren, Chris Haas, Brian Haas, Lindsey Turner (John), Derek Haas, Deanna Kueny (Joe), Jacob Haas and Heath Hastings (Casey); her great grandchildren, Campbell Turner and Conley Turner; and her close friend Teresa Haas. She is also survived by two step-grandsons, several step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a Spiritual Bouquet may be made to the St. Clement of Rome Cemetery Fund and will be accepted at the St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church or at Gholson Funeral Home, which has been entrusted to provide arrangements.
