We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2019, at the age of 95, Claudia Bowers (McLeansboro, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Bridwell and Amy Bridwell (Burnett); her spouse John Louis "Briss" Bowers; and her siblings, Owen Bridwell, Lawrence Bridwell, Vacal Johnson, Carrie Foster and Maud Rhoads.

She is survived by: her children, Johnny R. Bowers (Phyllis) of McLeansboro, Larry Joe Bowers (Phyllis) of Orient, IL, Mark "Bub" Bowers (Judy) of McLeansboro and Andrea June Tennyson (Melvin) of McLeansboro. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
