It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter A. Korpan of McHenry, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Walter H., Anna Korpan, Lorraine, Ralph Nielsen and Andrew Lull; his uncle Andrew Korpan; and his cousin Michael Korpan.

He is survived by: his parents, Walter J. Korpan and Ann Korpan; his sister Katie Korpan (Jerad); and his nephew Charlie Riddle. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Walter's name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (McHenry County Chapter), or an animal rescue or charity of your choice, appreciated.
