She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schmaling and Hazel Schmaling; her husband William Johnston (Bill); her son Thomas Thompson (Tommy); and her brothers, Norman Schmaling, John Schmaling and Robert Schmaling.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Thompson (Donna) and Ann Rowley (Moore); her grandchildren, Eric Thompson (Anisha), Evan Scully (Breezy), Cora Dollenmaier and Connor Rowley; her great grandchildren, Nora Thompson, Weston Thompson, Kilani Cirelli, Cooper Mays and Asher Mays; and her nieces and nephews, Gloria Schmaling (Terry McMahon), Cathi Glos (Schmaling), Michael Schmaling (Lorie) and Mark Schmaling (Barb).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or the Epilepsy Foundation.
