She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Novak and Caroline Novak (Kovalczik). She is survived by: her granddaughters, Elizabeth, Suzanne and Katie; her great grandchildren, Tony, Maddy, Aaron and Gracie; and her children, Karen Marshall, Julie Licona and Steve Matkovich. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Feed My Starving Children.
