He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew MacMeekin and Rita MacMeekin; and his sister Rita Comstock-Sharkey. He is survived by: his wife Anna; his sons, Dion MacMeekin and Andrew MacMeekin (Sara); and his grandchildren, Hunter and Savannah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
