With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene A. Benz of McHenry, Illinois, born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Charlene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charlene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Joseph and Dolores Josephine Benz; her nephew Timmy; and her siblings, Mary and Jerome.
She is survived by: her sisters, Bonnie (Tom) and Jeanne (Mike); and her sister-in-law Paula. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
