He was predeceased by: his wife Queen Elizabeth Byrd; his sons, Leonard Jones and Reginald Jones; his parents, Lee Andrew Byrd, Sr. and June Rose Marie; and his siblings, Lee Andrew Byrd, Jr. and Harold Byrd.
He is survived by: his daughter Adrienne Joyner; his grandchildren, Destinie, Reggie, Jr., Dominique, Kadin, Kegan, Nicole, Ashleigh, Stormy Sky, Lavell and Amir; his great grandchildren, Nalani, Joseph, Kameron, Alonzo and Karsun; his siblings, Prentiss Byrd, Fardia Andrena Wesley, Roxann Hart (Jack), Vanessa Thomas (Eddie) and Glennis Haynes (Charles); and his close friends, Andrew Cornelious, Sr. and Harold Rule.
