He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smiley and Clara Smiley; and his brothers, Ozell Smiley and Joseph Smiley. He is survived by: his friend Maggie L Wright; his wife Maggie; his children, Leo Cordell Smiley, Linda Lefaire (Daryll), Brenda Wright, Stanley, Ray Smiley and Steve Pearson (Theresa); his sisters, Lillie Manuel and Lucille Harris; and his sister-in-law Geneva Smiley. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces cousins, and close friends.
