David William Prine Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David William Prine of Maywood, Illinois, born in Melrose Park, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mason Prine and Verna Valentine Prine; and his brothers, Douglas Prine and John Prine. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Anne Sorkin (David), Jean Powell (Roger) and David M. Prine (Lisa Plaxco); his granddaughter Allison Sorkin; his brother Billy Prine; and his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Prine, Fiona Prine, Donna Byrne, Ellen Regan (Gary) and Michael Tredrea (Audrey Aabey). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In honor of Dave's legacy, contributions can be made to the Maywood Fine Arts Association (maywoodfinearts.org) in lieu of flowers.
