He is survived by: his wife Sue Kroening of Mattoon, IL; his children, Terry Kroening, Jan Kroening of Mattoon, IL and Julie Miller of Mattoon, IL; his grandchildren, Adam Funk (Jolene), Jordan Miller (Olivia), Marcus Miller (Myra), Whitney Babbs (Blake), Tyson Kroening (Carly) and Tanner Kroening (Hayley); his stepgrandchildren, Steven Mitchell and Tracy Whitaker; his great grandchildren, Ellie Miller, Walter Miller, Wesley Miller, Hattie Babbs, Braeden Miller and Owen Miller; his sister Marilyn Patterson; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Hubbartt, John F. Bridges (Sharon) and James Bridges (Wanda).
