He was predeceased by: his parents, Oris DeLong and Hazel DeLong (Winings); and his siblings, Charles, Larry, Deloris and Diane.
He is survived by: his wife Donna DeLong of Mattoon; his daughters, Tammy James of Mattoon and Connie Kline (Steve) of Lerna; his grandchildren, Colleen, Michael, Amelia and Kaitlyn; his sisters, Mary Foltz of Mattoon and Janet Trier (Phil) of Redondo Beach, CA; and his sister-in-law Judy DeLong of Lacey, WA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his honor may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children.
