We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2021, at the age of 85, Virginia Hitchcock of Mattoon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Gordon and Bessie Gordon (Van Dyke); her husband Wayne Thomas Hitchcock; and her brothers, Bobby, Merle and Larry Gordon.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Ralston (Jack) and Tina Bowling (Mike); her granddaughter Emily Bowling; her aunt Marge Smith; and her brother Doug Gordon.

Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the Coles County Animal Shelter.
