With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Ellen Brown of Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olen Farris and Susie Farris (Edwards); her husband Rex Brown; and her siblings, Ed Farris and Kathy Deckard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shawn Ames (Bill) and Dawn Harlin (Tom); and her grandchildren, Jamie Whitaker (Travis), Olen Ames, Alisha Harlin, Alexander Whitaker and Eli-Shah Whitaker.
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to Hope Christian Academy at Broadway Christian Church, Mattoon, IL.
