It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Helen Tooley of Mattoon, Illinois, born in Charleston, Illinois, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Ann Wilson of Mattoon, IL and Judith Kay McClellan (Jack) of Mesa, AZ; her grandchildren, Dirk D. Wilson (Sheila) of Mattoon, IL, Troy M. McClellan (Cheynne) of Gilbert, AZ, Tracy Ann Beason (Larry) of Mattoon, IL and Rhonda McClellan of Mesa, AZ; and her great grandchildren, Shelby Halford of Gilbert, AZ, Mitchell D. Wilson of Bloomington, IL, Robey McClellan of Gilbert, AZ, Luke Wilson of Mattoon, IL, Austin Beason of Springfield, IL, Skyler Halford of Gilbert, AZ, Keenan McClellan of Gilbert, AZ, Chase Beason of Birmingham, AL and Taylor Kircher of Shelbyville, IL.. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
