She is survived by: her children, Michelle Phillips, Demetris Carey, Corey Carey, Nicole Carey and Brittany Mosley; her grandchildren, DeBret McGee II, RaKya Phillips, Danisha Dinwoodie, Marcus Dinwoodie, Shaynia Henderson, Nickeisheona Carey, Courbriana Jackson and Jordan Barker; and her siblings, Robert Fisher, Wayne Carey, Violet Hall and Les Edwards.

Memorial donations in her honor are suggested to her family.
