He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Harms and Doris Harms (Krassig); his siblings, Gary Harms and Gay Nell Lewis; and his granddaughter Eloise Harms.
He is survived by: his former wife Karen Monson; his children, Matthew Harms of Fairview Heights, Brianne Stinchfield (Jim) of Collinsville, Lee Harms (Karen) of Mattoon, Chad Harms (Sarah) of O'Fallon and Daniel Harms (Kristen) of Fairview Heights, Ill.; his grandchildren, Kameron, Korben, Karson, Colton, August, Elizabeth and Gordon; and his siblings, Steve Harms (Patty) of Omaha, Neb., Mike Harms of Texas and Colleen May (John) of Omaha, Neb.. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
