He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mary Marie Childress (Mulvaney); his wife Cheryl Childress; his sons, Christopher Ryan Childress (Denise) of Mahomet, IL and Rick Brandon Childress of Mattoon, IL; his grandchildren, Claire Childress and Clark Childress; his sisters, Mickey Childress and Jeanie Thornton (Denny); and his father Kenneth Dean Childress. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
