We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2021, at the age of 67, Shirley L. Derixson of Mattoon, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul M. Knotts and Lorraine Knotts (Miller); her husband William Neal DeRixson; and her brothers, Ronnie Mitchell Knotts and Wayne Steve Knotts.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey DeRixson (Amber) of Mattoon, IL, Joseph DeRixson of Mattoon, IL and Jimmy DeRixson of Mattoon, IL; her grandchildren, Gage DeRixson of Crestview, FL, Garrett DeRixson of Mattoon, IL, Lux DeRixson of Mattoon, IL and Maggie Bialeschki of Mattoon, IL; her great grandchild Matthew DeRixson of Mattoon, IL; her sisters, Lori Croft (Hank) of Mattoon, IL and Connie Branstetter of Olney, IL; and her close friends, Angela Bradbury, Dan and Esther Devall of Toledo, IL.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the Mattoon V.F.W. Post 4325.
