She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Horn and Pearl Lozano (McIntosh); and her husband Rueben Charlson. She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Mandernack and Herb Zerwick (Margaret); her grandchildren, Mark Schelling and Judi Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Mark, Johnny, Cassandra and Sara. She is also survived by her mother, sisters, husband, children, and grandchildren.

Memorial donations in her honor may be given to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) or charity of the donor's choice.
