The passing of Sharon J. Fox of Mattoon, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 13, 2024 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy Bell and Olive Nelms (Morgan); her husband Mack; her siblings, Howard Nelms, Leland Nelms, Richard Nelms, Wayne Nelms and Shirley Hale (Nelms); and her siblings-in-law, Dave Ellison, Bill Fox and Jo Nelms.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Fox (Jennifer) of Oacoma and Kimmel Jenkins (David) of Mattoon, Illinois; her grandchildren, Taylor Fox (Jessie), Devan Fox (Emily), Miranda Lyons (Nate) and Shary Duniphan (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Holden, Ellianna and Sylvie; her sister Saundra Ellison; and her siblings-in-law, Blaine Fox, Steve Shearer, Doreen Nelms, Sylvia Nelms, Marge Fox, Beth Shearer and Evelyn Fox. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schilling Funeral Home (1301 Charleston Ave, Mattoon, IL 61938). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
