With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Scott Alan Barker of Mattoon, Illinois, born in Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on June 24, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lucille and Ebb Thomas; his parents-in-law, Mary and Perry Hays; his great-nephew Ayden; and his pet Auggie.

He is survived by: his parents, Glyn Barker and Helen Barker (Thomas); his wife Vickie Hays; his children, Christina Couch (Shawn), Gary Dubson, Benjamin Dubson (Conny) and Allen Cochran (Christine); his grandchildren, Dakota (Erika), Caitlin, Mikala Couch, Destiny Dubson, Joshua, Leonie, Wayne, Anthony, Cole, Dawson Dubson and Caydence Cochran; his great grandchildren, Russell and Christopher Couch; his siblings, Marianne Endorf and Richard Barker (Lori); his nieces, Rachel Peden and Elizabeth Montee (Alex); and his great-nephews, Bentley, Owen and Robbie.
