She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo J. Tempel and Laura Tempel (Kleiss); her son Marine Lance Corporal Robert J.; her siblings, Joe Tempel, Ralph Tempel and Eileen Buyno; her daughter-in-law Sally Overmyer; and her granddaughter Abby Overmyer.
She is survived by: her children, Donald L. Overmyer of Albuquerque, NM, Dennis Overmyer (Nancy) of Mattoon, IL, Mark L. Overmyer of Mattoon, IL, Thomas L. Overmyer (Rhonda) of Mahomet, IL, Richard D. Overmyer (Lori) of Chatham, IL, Beverly A. Moyers (Randy) of Sammamish, WA and Brenda S. Wilfong (Earl) of Springfield, IL; and her sister Shirley Morris (Raymond) of Tuscola, IL. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the Immaculate Catholic Church.
