She is survived by: her mother Margaret Grace Williams (Sparks); her children, Rebecca J. Augenstein (William D.) of Mattoon, IL, James L. Helm Jr. (Renee) of Effingham, IL, Darlene Boyle (William) of Mattoon, IL and Kathleen D. Johnson (Mike D.) of Mattoon, IL; her grandchildren, Heather Knowles, Rachel Abbott, Adam Boyle, Jeremy Boyle, Sarah Fisher, Jesse Cobble, Tiffany Scott, Tara Spraker and Jeff Augenstein; her great grandchildren, Logan Poe, Layn Reynolds, Brooke Reynolds, Emma Smothers, Harrison Sawyer, Kelson Cobble, Bryson Cobble, Wilson Spraker, Kenadie Spraker, O'ryan Lawrence, Rosslyn Augenstein, Tabitha Webb, Jnai Webb, Josiah Koons, Elijah Koons, Samatha Koons, Felicia Koons, Adalyn Boyle, Adrielle Boyle, Mallory Boyle, Karsyn Boyle, Dakota Boyle and Keaton Boyle; her siblings, Morris Williams and Martha Brown; and her close friend Craig Mooney.
Ruby Fern Helm, age 88, of Mattoon went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 12, 2024 at Carle Foundation Hospital surrounded by her family.
