She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Scott and Lillian Scott; and her siblings, Charlie Scott and Dorothy Capshaw. She is survived by: her children, Greg Smiley (Carren) of Mattoon, IL, Kathy Fidler (Danny) of Decatur, IL, Debbie Davis (Ed) of Mattoon, IL and Tim Smiley (Sandra) of Palm Harbor, FL; and her grandchildren, Brandy Ealy of Decatur, IL, Nikki Clemens of Decatur, IL, Shelby Ruscitto (Clayton) of Decatur, IL, Mike Higgins (Hannah) of Ogden, IL, Guy Higgins (Victoria) and Chris Cloutier of Mattoon, IL. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in her honor may be given to Catholic Charities.
