He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Loren and Eula Mae Young (Cameron); his siblings, Paul Dean Young and Barbara Lee Tryon; his grandsons, Steven Briers and Conner Shemus Trimble; his son-in-law Curt Trimble; and his brothers-in-law, Harry Hepner and Dean Gaarder.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Young of Mattoon, Illinois; his children, Larry Dean Young of Mattoon, Tony Lee Young (Julie) of Mattoon, Bobbie Jo Trimble of Lewisville and Sheila Kay Elder (Mike) of Mattoon, Illinois; his sisters, Betty Ann Gaarder of Sherman and Patricia Mae Jayroe of Butler, Pennsylvania; and his brother-in-law Marvin Tryon of Spencer, Indiana.. He is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren; Fifteen great grandchildren; Four great great grandchildren.
