We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Robert W. Pierce of Mattoon, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ansel Pierce and Mildred Pierce (Hesse); and his stepson Ryan Keith McFarland. He is survived by: his wife Joy Diane Ellison; his children, Robert Pierce (Abby) and Tina Pierce Smith (Nathan Thompson); his stepson Shawn Lee McFarland; his grandchildren, Alexandra Buckler, John Poorman (Delaney), Avery Pierce, Ashley Smith and Kaitlyn Smith; his sisters, Janice Mann and Donna Lewis; and his half-brother Donnie Pierce. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
The family requests masks be worn and social distancing be maintained.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to Disabled American Veterans.
