He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Edwards and Mabel Edwards (Boyd); his wife Ruth Elizabeth (Morris); his brother Donald "Doc" Edwards; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Edwards (Miller).
He is survived by: his children, Marsha Lynch (Jim), Jack Edwards (Carol) and Jerry Edwards (Karin); his grandchildren, Heidi Boeser (Travis), Nicki Whitley (Chris), Collin Lynch, Matthew Edwards (Natalie) and Diane Edwards (Steven); his great grandchildren, Greenlee, Jillian, Erin, Olivia, Anna, Lorelei Boeser, Nolan, Charlotte, Evelyn Edwards and Briggs Whitley; and his siblings, Betty Alewine, Billy "Bill" Edwards, Jimmie "Jim" Edwards (Beulah "Duke") and Roger Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church in Mattoon and to the American Red Cross Blood Services as Frank was a lifetime blood donor.
