Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert David Atchley (Mattoon, Illinois), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 77, on October 27, 2024. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky; his children, Tammy Riggs (Frank Davis) and Robbie Atchley (Abby); his grandson Peyton Riggs; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Baker (Duane) and Susie Houchin.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Mattoon VFW in honor of Bob's memory.
