He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Martin and Hazel Martin (Whitley). He is survived by: his wife Gabriele Martin; his children, Heidemarie Schlabach (Ervin), Regina Martin and Joseph Martin (Josie); his grandchildren, Ethan, Zane, Zoe, Andrea, Ashley, Alexandra, Elijah and Hayden; his great grandchildren, Bobby and Aurora; and his pets, Caesar and Rocky.

Memorial donations in his honor may be given to his family.
