We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2021, at the age of 97, Raymond Pforr of Mattoon, Illinois, born in Westfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pforr and Fern Pforr (Axton); his wife Effie Elizabeth Waddell; and his daughter Pamela Melton. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin R. Pforr (Deborah) of Kansas, IL, Eric B. Pforr (Sherri) of Mattoon, IL and Jeffrey J. Pforr (Laurie) of Humboldt, IL. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in his honor may be given to First Baptist Church of Mattoon.
