He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri Vanneste and Maria Vanneste (DeWilde); and his siblings, Karl, Jozef, Anna, Maria and Leona.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky J. Vanneste of Mattoon, IL and Jacqueline VanHeule (Hans) of Waxhaw, NC; his grandchildren, Marie Vanneste, Joy Vanneste (Nicholas Helton), Jacob VanHeule and Lucas VanHeule; his great grandchild Adrienne Joy VanHelton; and his sister Godelieve VanRobays of Belgium.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Lincolnland Hospice.
